Then sign up now for the Green Building for Building Professionals course, a two-day class to be taught in Chapel Hill on August 31 and September 1 by our own Michael Chandler. About the instructor: Michael Chandler has been building solar and green homes for over thirty years, first as co-founder of Space Builders, Inc, and since 1997 as president of Chandler Design-Build. In addition to being a General Contractor, he is a licensed Master Plumber as well as a master tile setter and cabinetmaker. His company’s projects have drawn national recognition -– receiving first place in 2005 for "Aging in Place Design for a New Custom Home" at the NAHB International Building Show and second place in 2006 at the NAHB National Green Building Awards for "Custom Home of the Year." The company’s homes have also been seen in Fine Homebuilding Magazine and Natural Home Magazine. Michael writes articles for Fine Homebuilding Magazine, and he has a blog on GreenBuildingAdvisor.com.
Space in this class is limited, so be sure to make your reservation soon!
