There will be another Green Home Tour in May of 2010! Builders, you can also ask to have your projects considered for the one-day tour that will be held in conjunction with NAHB's National Green Building Conference in Raleigh on May 16- 18, 2010. You can obtain more information about this tour on the Call for Entries and the Tour Entry Form (use the links above). | The annual Green Home Tour is a free, self-guided event that enables potential homebuyers and other interested individuals to examine a variety of green building features in homes of all price ranges and styles.
All entries must be enrolled in the certification program operated by the Green Home Builders of the Triangle (GHBT) or NAHBGreen, and all entries have demonstrated the ability to reach at least the bronze level of certification upon completion. Some of the homes on the tour will probably be only partially finished so that tour attendees can see the technical green features that would otherwise be hidden behind the walls. Stay tuned for more information.
