    More than 80% of the houses built in     Durham and Orange Counties are built by members of our HBA. If you want to do business with a builder in Durham or Orange Counties, you can find them in the HBA!
  • Regulatory and legislative issue representation
    The HBA monitors, comments upon and alerts members to the need to present testimony about the impact of decisions by local government in our two counties and 4 municipalities.

Builder
    

Any individual of good character who is or has been in, or employed by a firm or corporation in the business of building or rebuilding homes, apartments, schools, commercial, industrial, or other structures normally related and appurtenant to a community, or in land development.  Must have one year's experience in construction.  Must have a North Carolina General Contractor's License, either as an individual, or the company must have a corporate license..
2008 Parade of Homes Entry
     This is an online version of the Parade of Homes entry form.  You may use this form to complete the information about your 2008 Parade entries.  If this form is used, the submission of a signed builder agreement (page 2 of the Rules & Regulations), the floor plan/elevation, and entry fee payment must be made prior to the deadline date and time to qualify for one of the reduced price discounts.
Associate 1
    

Any individual of good character who is or has been engaged in or employed by a firm or corporation engaged in a trade, industry, or profession related to building and/or land development. Level 1 associates work in a company of 1 to 24 employees.
Associate 2
    

Any individual of good character who is or has been engaged in or employed by a firm or corporation engaged in a trade, industry, or profession related to building and/or land development. Level 2 associates work in companies of 25 to 100 employees.
Associate 3
    

Any individual of good character who is or has been engaged in or employed by a firm or corporation engaged in a trade, industry, or profession related to building and/or land development. Level 3 associates work in companies of more than 100 employees.
Affliate
     Affiliate Membership is  available to co-workers or employees of any member of the HBA.  Affiliate membership is tied to a full membership of either Builder or Associate classification and ends automatically if the full membership ends for any reason.
