Community Service History

In 1992, the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange & Chatham began the Parade of Playhomes Fundraiser. Each Spring, three members of our association each volunteer to build a custom-built designer playhome that is displayed for a set period in a public area. Raffle tickets are sold on-site and online at this website and 100% of the proceeds are donated to organizations that work to prevent child abuse in our community. We are proud to say we have raised over $120,000 for this important cause.
